About
“Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value.” — Albert Einstein
I am a qualified Information Technology Professional and a full stack developer currently based in Africa.
Every society runs on infrastructure it rarely sees: the roads beneath it, the grids that power it, the networks that carry its conversations. Ours is being rebuilt in software and intelligence, faster than at any point in history, and the choices made this decade will quietly shape how billions of people live, work and trust one another for generations. I intend to be one of the people making those choices well.
I solve problems from first principles. Strip away the assumptions, find the constraint that actually matters, and build for that. Most hard problems are old problems in new form. The craft lies in telling them apart, and in having the discipline to solve the important problem rather than the loudest one.
My standard is simple: it has to work, it has to last, and it has to make sense to whoever comes next. Clever is easy. Clear, reliable and still standing years later is the hard part, and the only part that counts.
As machines take on more of the thinking, what becomes scarce is judgement, responsibility and taste. Technology should extend what people are capable of, never decide what they are worth. That is the line I build to: tools that give people leverage, systems they can depend on, and intelligence that answers to the people it serves.
The future never arrives everywhere at once. I would rather build it than wait for it.
Think in decades.
Build with precision.
